Digital Audio Recording Equipment!

Obtaining music studio recording equipment and putting together a quality setup has come down in price over the years, and as long time lovers and users of multi-track recording, we are continually amazed by just how much it has- while what you are able to get has increased dramatically. We love that with the proper software, some inputs, speakers/monitors and microphones a personal computer could be transformed into a Recording Studio! And, as you’ll see here, you will find a wide variety of systems and gear- possible to put together to go with whatever your budget may be.
Analog Audio Recording and Studio Time
In the days before digital audio recording (yes, there were days before digital) It used to be just about the only way to get anything even halfway resembling decent sound meant you had to shell out mucho dinero for your own music studio recording equipment and/or pay rates of $75-$150 hour or much more. ANYONE who has done any recording work knows that even if you show up properly rehearsed and ready to go between micing, setting recording and mixing the tracks you’re looking at least 8-12 hours per song. It ain’t cheap to do it that way! Now extremely reasonably (like starting at even like two hundred bucks) you’ll be able to of course lay down tracks nowadays that sound incredible!
Digital Audio Recording
The reason all of this is possible with such wide variety and availability is of course the invention and now standard atof digital audio recording equipment. This allows computer audio equipment to be on our desktops or even in the palm of our hands now. There is no longer the need for many of the things that used to be necessary to make recordings sound good like expensive 1″ or 2″ tape or specialized noise reduction devices. With digital audio recording equipment all of that is unnecessary. The noise issues will more or less be isolated to the quality of the patch cords, cables, circuitry in the equipment like the audio studio microphone used and/or the mixer.
So anyway, we have a bunch of stuff here- please just do a search, it’s easiest. You will find everything you will need here in music studio recording equipment from microphones to speakers, monitors to microphones to physical mixers too as software ones. You will also come across some good how-to information too as ideas and tricks for making recordings come out with a professional sound you may well not
have though possible without going into a expert high priced studio.
